Availability Leica M battery (Typ 240)
The Leica brand stands for high-quality premium products ‘Made in Germany’ that guarantee long-
lasting quality and a first-class product experience. In order to ensure the long-term and reliable
usability of Leica products, the company is committed to ensuring the availability of essential
accessories and spare parts over a long period of time.
This also applies to the availability of battery models for Leica M cameras. The continuing high
demand, especially for the Leica M Typ 240 battery, confirms not only the quality and durability of the
Leica M system, but also once again the trust of our customers in its reliability.
We therefore regret to inform you that despite our intensive efforts and close co-operation with
reliable suppliers, the battery for the Leica M (Typ 240) is currently not available.
We assure you that we are working at full speed on solutions to improve the situation as quickly as
possible and to ensure availability again. We will of course keep you informed of the latest
developments.
